Happy Friday! There were so many beautiful images on the web this week and I am constantly inspired by them. Sometimes, it’s the just the simple things, like a single green stem in a glass vessel, a bowl of fruit or a candle lit for lunch or dinner. These seemingly small effects are what can elevate a simple meal or surface area (like a countertop or nightstand) to feel special and celebrated. Other times, seeing an entire room or home can inspire me to want to restyle, reorganize or completely change up my home or style. Here are my top 5 this week:
Beautifully layered living room with textural accents

This living room is so good! Doesn’t it make you want to just snuggle in under a blanket and binge-watch your favorite TV series? It’s so beautifully layered with neutral accents and warm textures, like that rug, blanket and set of leather club chairs. And look at that wood ceiling and those beams – just gorgeous!
A Parisian white walls and herringbone floor blank slate

What a perfect blank slate! Herringbone wood floors, white walls, ceilings with dental molding…can’t you just picture moving in and making this your home? It just so happens to be in Paris…so there’s that amazing detail too.
A warm inviting kitchen

You know a kitchen always makes my top 5. It’s my favorite room in a home. This one seems to beckon you in with that wood bowl of pears, beautiful natural wood island topped with vintage basket, jug, earthy artichokes and leafy clippings. I can just picture myself standing in front of that apron sink rinsing the dishes under that solid brass faucet. Its understated kind of beauty using natural decor makes it a definite favorite.
Avocado toast with heirloom tomatoes

Avocado toast with heirloom tomatoes and basil? Yes please! What a perfect snack or meal, any time of day. I purchased heirloom tomatoes at the Santa Monica Farmer’s Market this week and will definitely be making this simple yet pretty toast this weekend. Probably more than once.
Cashmere sweaters for fall at a great price point

I love this color palette year round but it definitely would enhance any fall wardrobe (I’m eyeing that animal print!). Plus, cashmere sweaters starting at $99 is good for the wallet.
What do you have planned this weekend? I hope wherever you are, you enjoy scenic fall beauty, crisp temperatures and lovely moments with loved ones.
